The East Africa musician Diamond from Tanzania was believed to have been the favored artist who went home with three different awards from various categories. He was said to have bagged the following awards; 'Most Gifted Afro Pop', 'Most Gifted Newcomer' and 'Most Gifted East'.
The likes of Tiwa Savage, KCEE and Olamide were the only artists from the West Africa country(Nigeria) who were also able to go back home with something. Mavin's first lady Tiwa won the 'Most Gifted Female' award for her 'Eminado' single featuring Don Jazzy,KCEE won the 'Most Gifted Duo' for his hit single 'Pullover' featuring Wizkid.
Nigerian rapper Olamide (Baddo)who just released his hit album titled Street OT defeated the likes of Davido, Dr SID, Burna Boy and R2bees to clinch the 'Most Gifted West' award. He also performed alongside YBNL rapper Lil Kesh who rendered his 'Shoki' remix alongside Davido.
The Omo baba Olowo (Davido) who was defeated in all five categories he was nominated was said to be the best loser of the Night losing out in all categories he was been nominated in. Though 2014 has really been a great year for the Aye crooner winning four 'Best African Act' awards in several music award shows.
