4years Old Owen Wish to be a Firefighter

Owen, 4, from Canada, suffers from hypoplastic left heart syndrome. Owen's one true wish was to be a firefighter for a day. Owen experienced a day in the life of a firefighter. He participated in everything -- from driving the fire truck, taking part in escape drills, even a practice search and rescue drill where Owen showed off his heroic skills by rescuing a baby.
Owen's wish took place on 29 April 2012, World Wish Day^(R), the global celebration of wish granting. It celebrates the day in 1980 that seven--year--old Chris Greicius received his wish to be a police officer for the day, inspiring the creation of Make-A-WishA^(R)and the organization's global wish--granting movement.
Since Chris' wish in 1980, nearly 310,000 children around the world have had their fondest wishes fulfilled by Make-A-Wish.
